Teflon painting has resistance, heat-resistance, corrosion, lubrication and other characteristics, widely used in baked roast utensils, food machinery, stove panels, small home appliances, all kinds of cooking pots and pans, chemical machinery, dyeing the whole wheel, fit the wheel, auto parts and molds.
Properties of Teflon painting system
E-CTFE (Halar®), ETFE (Teflon®) , PFA (Teflon®) and modification PTFE ,and the same as partially fluorinated or perfluorinated polymer materials,it can be processed by a thermoplastic molding process which has a very high patience to almost all organic and inorganic compounds, either acidic or alkaline. These materials to acids, alkalis, solvents and chlorides, shows widespread persistent patience. The typical characteristics of molecular chain is strong Intermolecular fluorine-carbon bond.
Apart from strong resistance to a wide range of chemicals,E-CTFE also shows other qualities such as resistance under high temperature , impact resistance and toughness, as well as the full vacuum resistance (for example good adhesion) and other excellent resistance to mechanical damage.

Teflon painting performance
PTFE |
Low coefficient of friction
Good creep resistance
Unavailable thermoplastic molding method
Good chemical resistance
Temperature between -200 °C and + 260 °C |
PFA |
Properties similar to PTFE,available thermoplastic molding method
Good creep resistance
Good chemical resistance
Temperature between -200 ° C and + 260 ° C
Good anti adhesive properties |
FEP |
Chemical resistance similar to PTFE
Mechanical patience is not better than PFA and PTFE
Temperature between -200 ° C and + 205 ° C
Anti adhesive properties better than PFA |
ETFE |
After PTFE, PFA and FEP has best chemical resistance
Extended performance is the same to PTFE
Temperature between -100 ° C to + 155 ° C
Impact toughness is the best in all plastics
High modulus
Painting thickness can reach 800 μ m. |
E-CTFE |
Resistant to organic solvents, acids, chlorides and sodium hydroxide
Temperature lows to -40 °C still has good impact toughness
Temperature between -100 °C and + 150 °C
Common painting thickness 800 μm, Maximum painting thickness up to 1500 μm |
Slide paint coat |
Non-porous
Strong ability to slide, especially as the grinding surface to PTFE
Strong adhesion to the painting which is will to be coated
Temperature range up to 130 °C
Painting thickness from 150 μm to 300 μm
High hardness, Shore D DIN 53505 = 90-95 |
